At Purposeful Play PT we provided skilled physical therapy intervention in the natural environment setting. This allows us the opportunity to assess and meet the unique needs and goals of each family we work with. Treatment interventions are able to be immediately applied to positively impact the daily activities and lives of the patient and family.

Evaluations and Screenings
Our formal physical therapy evaluations are approximately 60 minutes in length. This allows us adequate time to review individual concerns, health history, assess your child's current level of gross motor function and develop a plan of care for treatment.
Treatment includes the development of age appropriate developmental activities, aid in acquiring assistive technology or durable medical equipment if warranted. Goal development to create solutions for barriers that limit the patients participation within the home or community.

Our Purpose
Purposeful Play Physical Therapy was established in 2018 to provide skilled physical therapy intervention to the pediatric population, in and around Charleston, SC. We specialize in early intervention services and provide therapy in a natural environment setting. Our purpose is to empower patients and their families to live life to the fullest by aiding in the development of gross motor skills and breaking down barriers to participation in daily life at home and with activities out in the community.
We will work with your family's schedule to find a time that best meets you and your child's needs.
